API POND MELAFIX Pond Fish Bacterial Infection Remedy uses the antibacterial properties of tea tree to treat bacterial infections in pond fish including ulcers, open wounds, fin and tail rot. Healing and tissue re-growth can often be seen within four days of treatment. API POND MELAFIX will not harm the biological filter and is safe for snails, aquatic plants and other wildlife. API POND MELAFIX is also recommended when adding new fish to a pond to reduce the risk of disease outbreak. This product is for use in freshwater and marine ponds only. API POND MELAFIX is safe for fish, pond plants, as well as surrounding wildlife and pets, when used as directed.

Shake well. Use dosing cap on bottle. Remove carbon from pond filter and turn off UV lights and ozone-producing units, if applicable. Add 15ml (1 Tbsp.) for every 150 U.S. gallons (567 L) of pond water or ¼ cup (60 ml) for every 600 U.S. gallons (2,270 L) of pond water. As a preventative when introducing new fish to the pond, dose daily for 3 days. To treat infections or heal wounds, dose daily for 7 days. Double the dose when treating advanced or chronic infection. Repeat treatment, if necessary. Note: a slight foaming may occur during the treatment. When exposed to elevated temperatures, this product may turn cloudy in the bottle. This does not affect the activity of the product.
